Bristol-born musician and producer Sam Jackson, better known by his moniker Einsam, has returned with his highly-anticipated single ‘Fill Your Boots (More Than Life)’- his first release since his critically-acclaimed 2021 EP ‘Samantics’.
Einsam was conceived during a transformative period in Vienna and fully realised upon his return to Bristol in 2020. Jackson, a seasoned veteran of the UK music scene, spent more than a decade performing alongside bands like Everything Everything, Wolf Alice, and The Maccabees. But with Einsam, he embarked on a solo journey, crafting a project that would push the boundaries of his own artistic vision, marrying his philosophical musings with a unique sonic palette.
The name Einsam, which translates to “solitary” in German, perfectly encapsulates the introspective nature of the project. Jackson uses the vehicle of Einsam to explore themes of identity, existence, and language, creating a distinctive blend of electronic and acoustic elements that feels both deeply personal and universally relatable.
