After spending much of the last few months building and cultivating their sound, Auckland-based newcomers Echomatica are now introducing themselves to the scene with their wondrous debut single ‘Love Isn’t Always’.
Honing this broad and emotive trip-hop-inspired aesthetic for their initial offering, ‘Love Isn’t Always’ makes for a beautifully rich and immersive introduction to their sound so far. With their debut album set to land before the end of the year, they are kicking off their journey with a brilliantly mesmerising release here.
While it may be still very early days for them right now, ‘Love Isn’t Always’ shows they already have a strong and confident grasp over their direction right now. Oozing with a brooding atmosphere from start to finish, we can’t wait to hear what this new LP has in store for us as well.
