When Gregory McLoughlin steps onto the stage at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre on December 13, it will be a return to where his journey began. Raised in Westchester County, McLoughlin cut his teeth busking, gigging, and telling stories across New York’s small venues and festival parking lots.

His upcoming self-titled debut album, out December 12, distills those miles into a lean, heartfelt collection. The first single ‘Businessman’ blends narrative detail with driving rhythm, inspired by the historic Johnstown Flood and built on the urgency of accountability.

For McLoughlin, this record is a statement of purpose: handmade, human, and defiantly off-grid. After years of testing songs in unconventional spaces, he now brings them home as one of the Hudson Valley’s most authentic voices.
