Singer-songwriter leo. has returned with his new single ‘never enough, never fair’, marking his first release in more than a year and offering an early glimpse of an upcoming EP.

The track blends gentle acoustic textures with subtle percussion, creating a reflective atmosphere that supports its introspective theme. Lyrically, the song explores feelings of inadequacy and the sense of missing out on life’s better moments, capturing a quiet struggle with self-perception and personal fulfilment.

Originally written in late spring 2024, the song later became the starting point for leo.’s next project when he returned to the studio. The artist worked on the production alongside Ed Allen and Nico Widdowson in London, developing a richer and more layered sound that signals a new chapter in his music.

Born in Portugal, leo. began studying music at the age of five and released his first self-produced track from his bedroom in 2018. Since then, his emotionally driven indie-folk style has attracted a growing global audience, with songs such as ‘despair’ surpassing 40 million streams.
