Miist has introduced a new chapter in her work with the release of “Love Will Show Us Our Way.” The single launches The Love Project, her 2026 creative initiative focused on compassion and connection.
The accompanying music video offers a global perspective on those themes. Earlier this year Miist asked listeners to share short clips showing everyday acts of kindness.
Fans responded from across continents, submitting scenes from their daily lives. The finished video weaves those moments together, highlighting gestures that often unfold quietly.
Miist collaborated on the song with Mauro Malavasi, the Italian songwriter and producer behind Andrea Bocelli’s Romanza. Their partnership brings a reflective tone that complements the video’s concept.
The Love Project builds on momentum from Miist’s Smile Project in 2025. That earlier initiative began with the song “Could You Lend Me a Smile.”
Inspired by a tragic story in Tokyo involving a man who died alone, the song eventually expanded into an international collaboration recorded in 16 languages.
Artists associated with more than 60 GRAMMY awards participated in the project, which reached millions of viewers worldwide.
Miist has extended these ideas into other forms of media as well. Her podcast, Make Me Smile with Miist, ranks among the most popular mental health podcasts in the United States.

The show combines storytelling with practical prompts encouraging listeners to take small actions that strengthen relationships.
Those ideas will soon appear in a forthcoming book titled Make Me Smile with Miist®, which translates the podcast’s themes into short chapters accompanied by music.
Miist also founded the World Smile Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing loneliness and social isolation.
One of its tools, the Kindness Kube™, offers daily prompts encouraging gratitude, kindness, and meaningful communication.
Miist’s personal journey shapes the philosophy behind these projects. She experienced abandonment as a child and later survived a terminal cancer diagnosis in her twenties.
Songwriting began during her thirties as a form of emotional reflection. Over time that process developed into a catalog of more than 100 songs.
She later became the first native Chinese artist to break into Billboard’s Top 25 Pop/AC chart and has continued earning placements with subsequent releases.
With “Love Will Show Us Our Way,” Miist introduces a new stage in her creative work. The Love Project will continue unfolding throughout 2026 with additional music and community initiatives centered on compassion.
