The experimental hip-hop project Massive Cranes has returned with a new single titled “Statues,” written and produced by Dan Crane.

The track builds gradually through a steady rhythm and minimal arrangement, allowing its contemplative tone to unfold slowly. Crane’s vocal delivery carries the reflective themes at the center of the song, touching on subjects such as loneliness, memory, and the quiet tensions that shape everyday life.

Unlike earlier releases, “Statues” sees Crane taking full control of the production process.

The single follows “Monuments” (2024) and “Carnival” (2025) and continues to expand the project’s atmospheric sound.
