Nashville-based artist Alex Kilroy has released ‘Let The Good Times Roll’, another single taken from his upcoming debut album Break My Chains.
The song features acclaimed musician Vince Gill and presents a warmer, more relaxed tone compared to some of Kilroy’s earlier releases. The arrangement remains spacious throughout, giving equal attention to vocals, guitar phrasing and rhythm.
Kilroy first discovered blues music while growing up in Transylvania before eventually moving to the United States to pursue music full-time. That personal journey continues to inform the emotional themes running through Break My Chains, particularly around identity and starting over.
Alongside the blues foundation, the album also draws from Southern rock, gospel influences and classic American songwriting traditions. Tracks including ‘All That Matters’ and ‘My Heart Is Yours’ point toward a broader stylistic approach than a straightforward blues revival record.
‘Let The Good Times Roll’ introduces another side of the project, favouring ease and emotional honesty over dramatic presentation as Kilroy prepares for the full album release on May 15.
