Rodrigo y Gabriela have unveiled the latest preview of their upcoming album with the release of the instrumental title-track OurHome.
Created during sessions at NK Sound Tokyo, the piece introduces many of the ideas that define the wider project, including reflection, renewal and personal identity. The duo have spoken about rediscovering inspiration while working in Japan, with the country’s artistic culture and attention to detail influencing both the creative process and the final recordings.
The album itself combines the pair’s signature acoustic interplay with contributions from several Japanese musicians, including pianist Hiromi and cellist Hiyori Okuda, while former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman also appears on the record.
Mixed by producer Dave Sardy and mastered by Stephen Marcussen, OurHome arrives this September and represents the duo’s first full-length release since 2023’s In Between Thoughts…A New World.
