Based in Namibia, Proklaim has brought an experimental and exciting perspective to the hip-hop scene since his first single’s release in 2018. Influenced by artists such as Bob Marley, Wu Tang Clan and Lauren Hill, this visionary continues to bring his original take to the musical landscape.

With a creative energy bursting at the seams, Proklaim has been releasing new and exciting singles in rapid succession over the last six years, and his popularity has been growing with an international audience ever since. His much loved single ‘Kingz’, featuring female Rap talent Romi, was televised on US MTV Base confirming his impact as a rising Global creator.

Proklaim is now back with new single ‘Life’, recorded at Pen Pushaz Entertainment, and mixed and mastered by Majewski at Audio Art Namibia. ‘Life’ is an innovative and adventurous departure from his usual classic rap. Using 70s funk influences and a love of artists such as electronic dance duo Daft Punk, Proklaim has created an uplifting and soulful force of a song. The melody has a feeling like a summer day, and with the message of unity and togetherness it’s hard not to smile while listening to ‘Life’.

Proklaim has said himself that a song has the “power to ignite social consciousness and societal shifts” and with his ambitious fusion of funk and hip hop, and meaningful philosophies behind his works we are sure he will be  driving this message through his work for a long time to come.
