Eels have just dropped their latest Christmas track, and it’s pure Eels. In classic Mark Oliver Everett (aka E) style, the new track is described as ‘an alternative yuletide ballad with a traditionally morose, Eels twist.’ So, get ready for a holiday tune that breaks the mold.
Unafraid to try and break into the Christmas market, this is Eels’ third Xmas tune, with E himself stating, ‘Everyone should have at least three Christmas songs in their catalog. I’m sorry it took me so long.’
