Singer and songwriter Elise Trouw has announced that her new project, The Diary of Elon Lust, will be released on February 13th. The lead single, “All You Need Is Lust,” is now available, accompanied by a Bosch-inspired video directed by Trouw.
The single introduces Elon Lust, a fictional character representing an exaggerated version of modern masculinity. The project satirises misogyny through humour and discomfort, pairing chilled rhythms with sharp, ironic lyrics.
The video builds on the concept with surreal imagery, including distorted choreography and disembodied body parts, reinforcing the critique of performative progressiveness.
With this release, Trouw continues to expand her artistic range, combining satire, music, and visual art into one cohesive statement.
