Baton Rouge bluesman Jonathan “Boogie” Long returns with ‘A Fool Can See’, a gritty, emotionally rich single that previews his upcoming album Courage In The Chaos, out November 14 via Myrical Media. Rooted in lived experience, the track captures the moment a truth becomes too obvious to ignore; whether in love, music, or the myths we tell ourselves.
“I kept hearing this idea of fool’s gold — how something shines until you get close,” Long explains. The result is a slow-burning roots rock confession, built on smoky guitar lines, gospel-tinged vocals, and phrasing that gives each lyric space to land.
