Following on from the rousing response to his much-loved initial offerings ‘Whalebone’ and ‘We Would Have Noticed The Moon’ last year, Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Reid Anderson is back once again to unveil his dreamy new single ‘My Dearest Friends’.
Adopting more of that wistful folk-pop aesthetic he has crafted over the years, ‘My Dearest Friends’ makes for a wondrous return to form for the artist at the helm. With his sweeping vocal performance layered across a stripped-back, acoustic-led production throughout, he returns to us with one of his more captivating efforts to date here.
While he may only have a handful of releases under his belt right now, ‘My Dearest Friends’ shows that he is still brimming with plenty of heartfelt ideas in which to explore. With such a confident approach to his songwriting already, we can’t wait to hear what else he has in store for us in the months ahead as well.
