With their debut album ‘Back to Back’ arriving this Friday, Vermont-based singer-songwriter Reid Parsons (they/she) offers a final glimpse with “Lightbulb”—a romantic, quietly radiant track celebrating enduring love and life’s small, magical moments.

Written for “someone who lights up a room but hides behind playful cynicism,” the song glows with acoustic fingerpicking, gentle keys, and ethereal layers of pedal steel and cello. “It’s a little, delicate but ornately decorated music box,” Parsons says, describing love not as a grand gesture, but as “a warm, steady glow.”

“Lightbulb” follows singles “Get Out of Bed” and “Back to Back,” and showcases Parsons’ gift for crafting heartfelt, grounded songs with cinematic grace.

‘Back to Back’ was recorded live to tape with Ben Collette and blends Americana, soul, and chamber pop influences. Parsons’ Vermont tour kicks off May 3, with an album release show at Foam on June 12.
