After spending the last few months building and cultivating his sound, LA-based artist The Afro Nick is now ready to introduce himself to the wider world with his vibrant debut single ‘Get There Before Noon’.

Conjuring a smooth and alluring blues-rock-inspired swagger for his initial offering, with just a dash of electronic influences provided by Grammy winning synth player Leonardo Genovese, ‘Get There Before Noon’ makes for a dazzling introduction to his sound so far. With his broad and impassioned vocals layered across a sweeping guitar-driven production throughout, he is kicking things off with a wildly enjoyable opening number here.

Speaking about the new release, he said, “After a late and long hangout at my apartment in NYC I woke up with a hangover but I had to go record for another artist and I had to get there before noon.”

Adding about the meaning, “You only have one life. You gotta do what you have to do and do it as soon as possible.”

It may be his only piece of material to date, but ‘Get There Before Noon’ showcases some brilliantly bold and inventive ideas as it plays. With such a firm and focused approach to his sound already, we can’t wait to hear where this journey takes him next.
