Rock powerhouses The Dead Daisies return with Lookin’ For Trouble, a thunderous homage to blues music recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The album emerged from a late-night jam session that quickly transformed into a full-blown project, produced by Marti Frederiksen and recorded live in the same room where legends like Aretha Franklin and Etta James once laid down tracks.

Across ten blistering covers, the band injects blues classics with their signature rock ‘n’ roll energy. Lead single “Crossroads,” a ferocious take on Robert Johnson’s mythic tune, set the tone, while their swaggering rendition of John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom” follows with grit and groove. Other standouts include Freddie King’s “Going Down,” B.B. King’s “The Thrill Is Gone,” and the riotous focus track “Black Betty” — a reimagined Lead Belly classic delivered with thunder and soul.

Out now, Lookin’ For Trouble is The Dead Daisies at their boldest and most reverent.
