Fresh off the back of their much-loved ‘Before It’s Gone’ EP earlier this year, Manchester’s The Rolling People are back to their vibrant best once again to deliver their swaggering new single ‘Reign’.

Honing more of that raw and driven indie-rock aesthetic they have been cultivating since they first emerged, ‘Reign’ makes for an incredibly bold and anthemic return for them. With its rich and emotive textures, soaring atmosphere, and killer hooks layered throughout, they continue to shine as one of the more impactful names on the rise with this one.

Speaking about the new offering, frontman Charlie McNichol said, “Reign is a song that is about taking control of the situations you find yourself in everyday life, and not letting people dictate your every move for their gain. It came from the initial idea of having the aggressive intro set the tone of the rest of the song, bringing a drive and ambition to the table. The lyrics spark a sense of hope, and the chorus helps consolidate the idea of taking what you love to the edge to make it work out”

While they have certainly been incredibly busy since their debut EP ‘An Introduction’ last year, ‘Reign’ shows they are still very much on top of their creative game right now. Brimming with this broad and immersive tone at every turn, we can’t wait to hear where this journey will take them next.
