Salt Lake City’s Alli Brown unveils ‘Undeniable’, a heartfelt debut album that distills a decade of songwriting into an emotionally rich and genre-blending collection. The record showcases Brown’s evolution as a songwriter and musician, bringing together folk, pop, country, and rock influences to craft a sound that feels both timeless and deeply intimate.
With most of the tracks self-produced, Brown proves her versatility as an artist, while six of the songs benefit from the refined touch of producer Brecken Jones. Every track on ‘Undeniable’ carries her signature storytelling style, with the exception of ‘Prairie Smoke’, a poignant collaboration with her sister, Sarah. From the raw vulnerability of ‘Lies Are Circulating’, a song that captures the sting of rumours, to the acoustic warmth that underscores much of the album, Brown’s songwriting is rooted in real-life experiences, making each lyric impact with raw authenticity.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Noah Kahan, Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, and Kacey Musgraves, Brown crafts melodies that are catchy and deeply introspective. The recording process, which spanned two years at Rocket Skates Recording and Temple City Studios, reflects her journey of growth as an artist, and as a storyteller unafraid to lay bare her emotions.
