Over these last few years, Oklahoma City’s Blueprint Tokyo have been keen to establish themselves as one of the more passionate names on the alt-rock scene. Blending bold and driven guitar hooks with a more heartfelt approach to songwriting, their recent run of releases have been these incredibly well-received gems that always look to push their aesthetic as far as it will go. And after plenty of love for their previous jam ‘Only In America’, they are back at it once again to unveil their euphoric new single ‘Mission Control’.

Honing more of that riveting direction the pair have earned a solid reputation for over the years, ‘Mission Control’ sees them returning to the fold in stellar fashion throughout. Creating this subtle mix of driven grooves and more anthemic moments throughout, they are certainly looking to get our fists pumping with this one.

While many of their releases have seen them adopt a more sombre approach, tracks like ‘Mission Control’ are a firm reminder of just how hard and captivating they can go. Building upon their dynamic legacy to date, they continue to shine as one of the more enjoyable names on the rise today.

These last few years have certainly been great for exploration within their sound, but ‘Mission Control’ proves they are still managing to unearth something new and interesting in which to explore. Brimming with such flair and finesse throughout, they are definitely ones we need to be paying more attention to in the months ahead.
