Georgie Najar has unveiled ‘Whatever’, a new single that serves as an early preview of her forthcoming EP Need to Know, arriving May 29.

The track reflects a personal experience of feeling undervalued, but instead of amplifying that frustration, she takes a more restrained approach. The song gradually shifts toward acceptance, maintaining a steady tone throughout.

This approach continues across the upcoming EP, which features four songs addressing themes such as relationships and self-awareness. The titles alone suggest a consistent focus on emotional reflection.

Her creative background combines influences from her upbringing in New York with a preference for more introspective songwriting. This balance is evident in ‘Whatever’, where the arrangement leaves space for subtle shifts in mood.

A live performance is scheduled for May 21 at The Bitter End, providing an early opportunity to hear the material in a live setting.
