Nick Cain has shared new details of his upcoming debut album Singled Out, set for release on June 12.

The record represents a shift for him, who comes to music after building a career in other fields. His upbringing in rural Washington and years spent working outside the industry have influenced the direction of the project, resulting in songs that focus on direct, personal storytelling.

Leading the release is ‘Stuck on You’, a reworked version of the classic track. Cain’s interpretation moves away from a traditional cover approach, instead presenting a more understated arrangement that blends elements of soul with a country-leaning sound.

The album’s overall structure reflects his experience performing live, with songs designed to be immediate and accessible. The production avoids excessive refinement, maintaining a natural feel throughout.

Singled Out positions Nick Cain as an artist developing his own path, with a debut that reflects both his background and his evolving approach to music.
