Young Allies have returned with ‘Fingers Entwined’, a new single that introduces the band’s forthcoming debut EP while continuing to establish their presence within New York’s indie scene.

The song blends layered vocals, understated instrumentation and a measured sense of progression, creating a sound built more around mood and interaction than overt spectacle. While the project began with songwriter Fritz Michel, the current lineup now functions as a collaborative unit, with each member contributing to the evolving dynamic.

Lyrically and visually, ‘Fingers Entwined’ draws from themes of intimacy, chance and shifting emotional balance. The accompanying video expands those ideas through fragmented imagery and dreamlike symbolism.

Young Allies are also maintaining a weekly residency at LIC Bar, giving the group a consistent live setting in which the songs continue to take shape.

With additional tracks such as ‘Watchman’ and ‘Are You In’ expected on the upcoming EP, the band appear focused on balancing literary and artistic influences with a grounded live-band identity.
